- #27 of 49 (the night order)
- In a deck
- One card
What it does
The Apprentice Seer may look at one of the center cards.
Rules and edge cases
- She counts as a seer: the Beholder sees who holds her card at the end of the night.
- The Witch and the Drunk wake later and may take the card she saw out of the center.
How to play it
- One center card is one role nobody was dealt. Anyone who claims they were dealt it is lying, unless the deck holds two.
- Tell the Drunk if they took the card you looked at: you can tell them what they are.
When it is in the deck
- Her knowledge is small and hard. A wolf who claims the role she saw in the center is caught.
If the Doppelgänger copies it
A Doppelgänger who looks at this card becomes a second Apprentice Seer. She plays its action at once, inside her own turn.
Around it
Wakes just before it: Seer. Wakes just after it: Paranormal Investigator.
